The Revitalight Skin Care System is a safe, but effective use of LED light technology designed for both cosmetic and medical treatment uses. It offers three sets of detachable hand pieces, identified by color: red, blue and amber. The red LED light is used for cosmetic purposes to help diminish the visible appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots on the face, neck, hands and body by promoting collagen firmness, and for medical purposes to relieve pain. The blue LED light is for treating moderate inflammatory acne; and the amber is also for medical use – to relieve pain and increase blood flow.
Developed by electronic engineers working in conjunction with dermatologists, the Revitalight Skin Care System uses photopulsation technology. When used for cosmetic purposes, this technology provides a non-invasive, effective and safe cosmetic skin care application in the comfort and convenience of the skin care professional’s office. Extensive research involving safe light sources and wavelengths has enabled the Revitalight team to create applications that allow light emitting diodes, LEDs, to help alleviate signs of aging. The key to Revitalight’s photopulsation technology for cosmetic purposes is the scientific concept that skin cells can be photoreceptive. The LED wavelengths which are used in the Revitalight Skin Care System are less than half the strength of lasers used at their lowest levels by dermatologists, and therefore when used by a skin care professional, are safe, yet effective.
